In futuristic 1940's America, the United States lose WWII to the Nazis, having their country overthrown by them. 

Phoenix Leopard, an engineer student and retired soldier, has his wife captured by Nazis. Given the name of the one who captured her, he vows revenge and goes on a deadly trip to kill him and get her back.

Throughout this journey, Phoenix learns the horrible truth that the United States will never be the same, the people he meets have terrifying backstories, and he learns the most important lesson of all:
