Cat and Mouse

Cat and Mouse
The game is on, but one of its participants has no idea that she is even in the game.

Jealousy can be a dangerous emotion when installed into the right person. It can consume, it can hurt and it can ruin lives.

*this story was made in part to draw attention to the importance of protecting yourself online. The other part was in response to a writing exercise proposed in 'The Writers Workshop' here on bookrix*

I apologize for the no doubts many mistakes in this short story, it is far from finished and definitely not polished. Hope you enjoy it none the less though, and I hope to improve on it later.

This is no cat and mouse more like lion versus cheetah. I think this isn't jealousy but evil craziness. For it to be jealousy the victim would have had to dated the coffee boy. Either way you lead the reader to the unexpected. Very nicely done. I love the way you think...

Oh wow! God, this is such a terrifying yet endearing story! It's amazing the little details you put in at the beginning that, at first seeming insignificant, came back to prove important. Like Amanda's sigh...

You are right about the typos; there are quite a few, but it's nothing that a good comb-through can't fix :)

Otherwise, the story was beautifully structured, with a very valuable lesson to be learned.

Thanks! Sorry about the typos, I knew that my once over would be pretty insufficient so late at night.
