I was already struggling to get through this when I got to the phrase "gaping maw" and stopped reading..why does everyone use that?? I have been binge-reading creepypastas and have seen "gaping maw" used over a dozen times. It's annoying and writers should really stop using it. Or at least put a moratorium on using it, for at least a year.
