Very descriptive! You paint quite a picture with your words, and a scary picture it is, indeed! Wow.
I like where you're going with this, and some of the writing really paints a picture of what's going on. There're some grammar issues that could be tweaked so it flows smoother, and some clarification of some other parts. Altogether, I think it's very appropriate for the feelings of Today.
