The Shape of Water is a fitting choice for best picture. I left the theater
feeling enchanted and uplifted. Can’t say the same for most of the other films
I’ve seen lately, Coco being the glowing exception. The more I reflected back
on it, it crept into my head that it is definitely one of the best I’ve seen ,
ever. It moved so well, didn’t taunt us with the typical suspenseful buildup

feeling enchanted and uplifted. Can’t say the same for most of the other films
I’ve seen lately, Coco being the glowing exception. The more I reflected back
on it, it crept into my head that it is definitely one of the best I’ve seen ,
ever. It moved so well, didn’t taunt us with the typical suspenseful buildup
to revealing “the monster” and Sally Hawkins communicated so well despite her
having no spoken lines. And thank you for the great ending. Rare these days.
