It's 1932 and the Great Depression is taking over already. Elena's just a young woman, at fourteen years old, she lost her mother when she was only five, and now, she lost her father. She has no immediate family memebers, nor can she even go anywhere. She's stuck in the New York City streets, all alone, until someone comes along, someone that actually cares.
