I disagree with the author in one key point. Even if you feel horrible,

This is what I did over the course of a year and it worked for me: stopped ALL
soda, I mean literally ALL. Minimized intake of bread, pizza, pastas, sweets,
chocolates ice cream you name it. I initially lost over 35 lbs by going into
intermittent clean/dirty diets; would’ve been quicker if I’d stuck to eating
clean. Then I got stuck at a specific weight and couldn’t break the wall. I
went into intermittent fasting and 24 hour fasts and it helped me lost another
5 lbs and then I hit another wall. This time I’m going full-keto and I’ve
already lost 4 lbs in two weeks.
LESSON: The longer you have been insulin resistant and hyperinsulinemic (which
is basically most of our population), the longer it’s going to take for you to
see those abs! The one thing that worked for me was cutting carbs (LCHF)
without going on any low-calorie diet.
I’d really recommend reading “The Obesity Code” and then deciding for
yourself.
