Beth,

You have written a story about how people go about their daily lives and never know what will come next. You are a talented young writer. I enjoyed the story from beginning to end. You have my vote.

Excellent writing!

So subtle the way our lives are intertwined with the lives of others; and how fleeting life can be. That fateful day will never be forgotten. Your writing is visual, relatable and subtle, even when packing that final punch. I look forward to reading more of your work. Much success to you.

Very sharp. The beginning was very reminiscent of the kind of writing you find on ABC sitcoms, then toward the end you gradually continued to pick up the pace until finally smacking me into that ending. Knife-like wit.

So descriptively mundane and realistic in the best possible way, this story shows how people just go about living their lives never knowing if today will be their last.

I think it was marvelous the way you brought the lives of a group of everyday New Yorker's and weaved them together into this beautiful mosaic of what life was like for them just moments before that fateful event. Thank you for such a wonderful read.
