Were it a census count of only citizens, then we wouldn't get the full story.
The decision to place a question about citizenship on the census should be
left up to census professionals, not a president with a political agenda, and,
of course, not his followers. Assuming that Trump has not yet stacked census
experts with his biased appointments, we'd get an effective set of relevant
questions on the census form. As we've had in the past.

Another way to look at this is that a question about one's citizenship on the
census form carries a Republican Party intent and not a sociometric function.
