A lot of stories in folk tale involve dolls or puppets. for example Vasilisa, the beautiful,. , and so on and of course these little worry dolls from Guatamala. but folk tale dolls are usually always companions , not separated from their owners and the doll often often represents characteristics or actions their owners would like to have . for example the doll can speak on your behalf , say things you wouldn't dare, ventriloquism
