I liked the book a lot, despite the fact that I don't usually read fantasy. Although you might want to break the chapters up; especially the last one. At least for me I kept getting distracted wondering if I'd missed a chapter. And I loved the dedication you made, you should definitely keep writing this kind of writing isn't my usual thing but you made me think I should change that. I also loved the character names. This is only the first book of a series, there is no way they can possible find and/or solve the problem of the Lost Eight in just 1 book, i plan on it being three....but ive already got the end to book one planned, and i like to think its neat
