Dark Light
It was dark stormy day and my light was flicking on and off every time you would here thunder. I was so scared and I could feel my heart pounding in my stomach. I was only 14 but I still was frightened even though this happens every year in the summer. I was tired so I decided to just put my pajamas on since my water doesn’t work on days like this. When I got in bed all I could hear was banging at my door, “Bang, bang, bang, BOOM!!!” I opened my door and found my brother at the door with his plastic sword which I guess broke while he was hitting the door. I asked to what was wrong and all he said was ‘help me’. He started running to his room so I followed and when we arrived there, a strange man was standing there staring at us like he was hopeless. “Who are you”, I finally said. “The time is near my child the time that you rescue your mother and father”, the dark figure answered. Oh maybe I should of told you my parents were missing but before I tell any more of this let me just tell the beginning. My mom and father were making lunch when we had ran out of butter and my parents had to go to the store so me and my brother made our own lunch. Our parents had been gone for hours and I was getting worried
