This book is sooooooooooooooo funny! I was laughing so loud!
I fell in love with the title immediately. I am reminded of the chickens my sister had when we were little kids
On top of the title and on top of it being well written and on top of it being funny, you have my appreciation for inviting me to read your story. Thank you./joeparente
Your on top in my book!!
It had me cackling throughout...sorry. Didn't mean to squawk...sorry again. I'm trying not to wing it here...oh, god! I'm SO sorry! Deep breath. Repeat "no more chicken puns, no more chicken puns, no more chicken puns." There. Anyhow, clever and funny, an amazing story fraught with knee-slappers. My favorite? The "three car, two chicken pileup." Thought I was going to need an oxygen tent after that one! You're awesome, you know that?
I had a feeling it would come to this one day. The chickens would be getting tired eventually. GO CHICKENS! I mean humans! It gave me a good set of "LOL's". You have a great sense of humor and a great way to narrate the story.
Felix the cat said it all. I, too, was somewhat hesitant to take a look, but so glad I did. This is one of the very best entries in the contest. Your writing is polished, slick and filled with wry humor. There is no doubt in my mind that you have a huge talent and will go far. Keep writing like this and the sky is the limit. I'm a fan...and you have my vote.
Very entertaining! I don't think that I can look at chickens the same way again.
