Very interesting! Although it was very short, the story still drew me in and the end is not expected at all (at least not to me).
Good work!
I'm laboring over something else now and looking back here to see this kind comments has really help spur me on!
@EverCaptivating & Leslie - Yes. I always thought "42" was a bit too much. As in so many things it not really the amount that matters... but access!
@Marc - I'd never really thought of this piece as pleasing to atheists. Polytheists, sure. Agnostics, of course. But, as a minister myself, I sometimes feel as if I'm... Show more
How whimsical! I cared about the characters, nothing about it sent me into teacher mode (always good) and a surprise and delightful twist to the ending! I did love the reference to "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" reference in the blurb too.
I just read this blurb, "No, the answer is not 42." Cracking me up! I love those books. Douglas Adams is a hysterical writer with his off-the-wall humor and what seems at times, random ramblings that somehow sow his books together. I just wanted to share my thoughts. Okay-bye.

Thank goodness it wasn't the Electric Slide...I'm way too uncoordinated and I'd never make it past the front of the 'Soul Train'!
Fabulous. Reminded me of something my father, who did attend seminary and had a terrific sense of humor, would have come up with!
Kudos,

That was a wonderful read with a funny surprise ending!
I hope that's not an endorsement of dancing under the influence!
After a pint I might dance a bit... but after coke I might end up futterwaken.
