I'm from Manhattan and had an intimate knowledge of the subway system, mostly the Lexington line. Anyway, your descriptions brought back a lot of memories - extremely well-told, and good sense of humor (sprawlers who take up two seats are the worst, but especially if they're guys in shorts, lol)!
There's an immediacy about the composition that really made this poem shine. I felt the swaying, saw the characters in all their New York oddness and glory. Excellent, Angely :)
