The Commission
In my understanding one of the problems in marriage today is lack of proper understanding about the union. Many minds are so shallow when it comes to marriage. Some think they should marry so that they can keep having sex without feeling guilty, Some feel they should marry so that they can have financial security, some feel they should marry so that they can procreate, some feel they should marry so that they can get societal respect, in short the list is endless but the bottom-line is that all those notions are half-truths. Marriage is practically deeper than that.
Marriage is the oldest institution and it has its root in divinity and it is instituted by God not demons or man.
In God’s programme, marriage is the best thing that can ever happen to man. It embodies the epitome of God’s desire for His children. It’s God’s intention to grant His people a foretaste of what to expect in heaven through the institution of marriage.
It is the demonstration of the possibilities of faith getting married to grace.
Genesis 2: 22
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
This relationship called marriage is unique because it involves the two individual in it spirit, soul and body. Spiritually in the sense that their lives must have been transformed, both of them being born-again as Christians, and that ultimately means both belongs to the same spiritual kingdom thereby relating to each other in the same spiritual frequency. Soulishly, both of them should have the same mind concerning several issues because two cannot walk together except they are agreed. So it will become easy for each to know and understand what the other has in mind or would say or respond in certain issues. Bodily, because two people involved in marriage must accept the fact that their bodies belong to each other and thus be ready to share it with each other. Remember that marriage is not a cultural or national or ethnical affair, meaning it is not limited or tied to any culture, nation or ethnic group but it is a heavenly affair for man on earth. It is been directed and dictated by divinity. So to make your marriage successful it should be directed and controlled by divinity. God is the author and the finisher.
Marriages affect communities and nations. Every great and strong nation shows a community of strong marriages and homes. It is the home that builds the nation. Many nations are suffering today because they are a lot of dysfunctional homes. So, good, strong and godly homes make good and godly communities and societies.
Even the Church depends solely on the homes. A good and strong church is made up of strong and good homes. Looking at the bereshit, the beginning of all things, the home was established before the Church. And this is the main reason why the devil fights the homes and marriages in general. Because he is aware that if there are strong homes, there will be strong churches and that will put his kingdom at risk.
Globally we are faced with serious marital issues both in the Church and in the world. One fact we must acknowledge is that Satan and his demons has launched evil missiles on the marital life of so many people. And because marriages are broken down and homes shattered, there is much lawlessness in the land. There is high rate of single parenting going on and is grossly affecting the children because what good can you really expect from children that are raised in broken homes and where parents are still relating with hatred in their hearts towards one another even though they are divorced. If we must change our nation, then we must change our homes and marriages.
God spoke to me in 1985 that the enemy is going to fight against marriages in the last days, so I was mandated to partake in the assignment of preparing the mind of His people concerning the evil agenda of the wicked. But I must say with a broken heart that I failed in that assignment because I became a victim of that satanic onslaught.
So in response to this mandate that is why you are having this book in your hands now and presently I am working on other books that deal with the issues of marriage that will be released soon. So beloved, the choice is yours if you will take advantage of the truths revealed in this book to enhance your relationship and impart your marital destiny.
It’s time to align ourselves with the plan and purposes of God consciously. Because the moment of change is here for this is a new dawn of victory for marriages and homes! Friends, the devil has done his worst and now God is set to do His best in our individual lives! It’s God’s prophetic hour for marriages! Dead marriages are going to be resuscitated! Bad relationships are going to be corrected and everyone dating the wrong individual will be checked! God is doing a quick work to bring back the glory of His Church! Covenant of Marriage
Marriage, as much as the word of God reveals, is a covenant relationship (Read my eBook – The Mysteries of the Blood Covenant Unveiled). The word “covenant” is practically different from the word “promise”. Marriage is more than just a promise. A promise is, especially when is coming from man, is verbal or written undertaking, to do or not to do something. Not because a man promises you marriage or if possible he gave you a promise ring does not mean he will marry you. So to a promise, there are no conditions attached to it. But, a covenant is a formal contractual agreement between two or more parties, each party agreeing to do something as a pre-requisite to receiving some benefits. And a breach of such a covenant or agreement by any party disqualifies him or her for reaping the rewards and privileges of it. Marriage is not one of those promises of God so don’t wait for the day it will be fulfilled in your life. And is not what you can experience by just wishing for it.
A good marriage cannot be experienced by just waiting but by entering. Marriage being a covenant is a relationship between three parties, God (divinity), man and woman, that’s why the Holy Scriptures says a three-fold cord cannot be broken. This covenant is initiated by God that is why the terms binding this covenant is sealed up in His word. Through this book,
