Winter delight

The snowflakes fall, one by one
Motionless yet so full of grace
Each one is perfect, but strangely unique
Their mesmerizing dance
Delight the red-cheek children
The merry jingle of the golden bells
Fill the world with joy
But listen a little bit closer
What can you hear?
The happy carols announce
That the holidays are near
Echoing to warm the soul

Dead as winter

Winter is still
What a thrill
The scene outside is such a fright
To see is truly a delight upon delight
The white stealth engulfs the unsuspecting world
I can touch the deathly cold
I can feel nature’s agony
As the homeless take their last cold breaths
The city is quiet and full of regrets
The everlasting bleak silence
The dying lights, the frightful nights
Extinguish the fervent fire of the soul
The stillness gives no hope

The red haired girl

There once was a girl, a red-haired girl
Without any faith, without any hope
She was your average young girl
As she passed by, she was unnoticeable
With nothing but apathy by her side
She gave up on the world outside
With the fake help and promises for a better life
She couldn’t continued pretending to play the puppet
Even though she was all grown up
She continued to believe there was a way out
To a life that is free and happy and borderless
Without inferiors accusing her of underachieving
Without careless rulers
Without intangible ideals
Without misery and despair
Without hells and heavens
In her mind and with her words
She could create this idyllic world
But she hid her world from her peers
As they would never see with her eyes
What was truly wrong and right
But she pored her heart out to the snowflakes outside
As they would never judge or laugh
They would listen and silently accept
And in their frozen perfection
Engulf the red-haired girl’s tears

Away

When you are away
I simply sit and stare
The world seams so empty and cold
The loneliness erodes my smile away
When you’re away I think
Of every little thing you gave me
All the smiles and happiness
All the confidence and power
All the love I could ever need
As the sun sets high, I open my eyes
As I feel the bed, your warmth is missing
When you are not by my side
I cannot help but feel just a bit sad
I remember how empty life is in one
I keep reminding myself I belong to you
I keep telling myself it won’t be long
But nothing can replace your touch
When we are apart
The days never flow fast enough
Life doesn’t taste as sweet
The dark appears more frightening than ever
But my king, I am unafraid because
I know soon enough all will be well
I know soon enough we’ll be one again

Lost it

Despise how hard you try, my empty soul
Will not be filled with ancient, decaying lore
I refuse to crave anyone’s forgiveness
I reject outdated, trivial ideals
My inner rhythm guides my apprehensive steps
I can find my nirvana and understand
Grow and learn, fall and accept defeat
I am much too brave to be threaten to believe
Obsequious sheep and coercive benevolence
I am no longer part of you
Even so I keep my head held high and fight
I am able to make mistakes
Without fearing the implausible consequence
I accept a benign absolute emptiness above
I cannot be sedated by hollow hopes and pernicious promises
I dare to think, I strive to disbelieve
The light I seek, the energy I crave
The meaning for more, the desire for completeness
Comes not from above but from inside
So I’ll close my young eyes, open my daring heart
And make the best of the palpable reality
Until eternal slumber engulfs my final breath

Fight

Shout
The roar of a proud lion
With the intensity of a hurricane
Taste the warm blood with your icy tongue
Rip open the corporate copper corset
Clench your fists tight
Feel the animal adrenalin
Raging from every corner of your rusty veins
Raise your voice
You have nothing to be afraid of
The primordial desire for revenge
The lust for velvet victory
Deny the dark hues of defeat
Release the malevolent demons
Dare to open your eyes
Destroy the ominous barriers
Impossible is nothing and nothing is impossible
Swallow your fears
Fight

Think again

So, you deem yourself smart
Your knowledge unbeatable
Your background impeccable
You believe you have what it takes
To change the world, mend the wrongs
With a sharp mind and a bold voice
Nothing will remain untouched
After your words have been spoken
Revolutionary ideas, remarkable intuition
But I have some bad news for you
You are not wanted
In a world of distorted ideals
Where mediocrity is proclaimed perfection
And ambition is labeled as greed
You glorify your freedom
But the chains are tied to the bone
Slave to a system that wants you to fail
Intelligence and honor
Excellence and peace
Are meaningless words, parallel to reality
Don’t get me wrong, you can win
If you are willing to accept
Some blood on your hands
Some knives in your back
Some mud on your face
Are you strong enough
To open your eyes and see the world for what it truly is
With the suffering and fear
Hypocrisy and facades
Can you smell the stench of rotting integrity
The corpses of dignity
The last remains of humanity
I am not threatening you
I am pleading you to think again

R.

I close my eyes.
I can see you
I open them and you are in front of me
Your black hair, discreetly twisted at the ends
Your green eye concentrated
On the black lines
The smell of coal engulfs the room
As the shapes spring to life
You are in your own world
The outside could die, could slowly decay
And you would never know.
I sit on the bed, and wait
Wait for your touch, wait for your kiss
With every second you keep me yearning
My lust for you grows stronger
But it’s not a simple desire for the flesh
For an animalistic act without conscious thought
For a second of immeasurable bliss
I want you as a whole
Your soul, your mind, your breath
I want you for an instant; I need you forever
Come to me as you are
As my friend, as my lover, as my confident
You don’t need to say a word
I just need to see your smile
To smell your skin, to touch your face
To have you near until the end
And even if you choose to walk a different path
Please remember one thing my dear
I love you - you are my world
