Yo-yo

 

Sometimes I feel

like a yo-yo

going up and down

in this relationship

 

When you're here

I'm up, feeling on

top of the world

smiling & happy

 

Yet down the next

as you walk away

out of my sight

or line of view

 

I'm stuck in the

downward motion

not moving up

an inch or two

 

Why, oh why

is life so cruel

when things

should be simple
