Prologue

Night was cold in London. The Sun hovered around the sky and then all to sudden dipped down the horizon as if someone switched off the Sun. A Goldfinch flew across the park and seemed to lose its color to the Sun. The cold air came rushing in, rejoicing the departure of the Sun, making the night-walkers shivering in their jackets.

All the lights were dimmed inside the houses, expect for a building which was almost crumbling down. All the children and even some elders declared that it is a haunted house for once a man living nearby the house once decided to go and check what was going in the collapsing building and the next morning found the man dead at the entrance. But no one knew the truth. There was no ghost and certainly the house was not crumbling. The building was painted in such a way that it looked like it was falling apart. For the man, he was killed by the guards who guarded the structure. The motive of this peculiar painting of the building was to scare the people away from it.

A man walked in the shadows, passing through brightly lit corridors of the 'haunted house'. The man was in his twenties, a handsome man, with fair hair and cold green eyes. He was wearing a pale grey shirt along with dark jeans which somehow managed to hold on his overdeveloped muscles. The problem was that the dress did not match him. He looked like as if he was born to wear a suit. The man's name was Tim Harrier. He left a large air-conditioned room where a few minutes before, a meeting was held. He knew that police and CBI could not sniff his operation. Only problem was XYZ.

Not hoping for the worst, he asked one of his men to give their prisoner some bacon sandwiches. The prisoner, was John Trowel, a multi-millionaire business man's son. 560 million dollars were to be exchanged for John Trowel, all in cash. After this operation, Tim had planned to shift to another part of the world, with a new identity. Tim was checking the final adjustments and was called his best guard Grin to kill the man who made his fake passport. He, of course, was a man who did not take chances. John Trowel was nibbling the sandwiches half-heartily, afraid of what might throw in his way. After some time, one of the Tim's men went to collect the millionaire kid's unfinished plate. The prison was not covered by bars, instead was covered by a nickel sound-proof door, which opens when punched with the 4 correct digits. Fortunately, the guard knew the code which was the name 'JOHN'. He slowly pushed the buttons slowly one by one J…. O…H… but could not push the N because he was dead.

A fit, dark figure emerged from nowhere, who was somewhat cradling a recently fired gun as if it was a baby. His face was not visible as he pulled the hoody of his black jacket close to his nose. He was wearing a metal cover underneath which covered his throat, wherein 3 letters were printed. XYZ.

Tim, hearing the gunshot, came down from upstairs but was stopped dead on his tracks when he saw the dark figure. He saw that even when he covered his face with a hoody and a metal covering, the dark figure smiled an ugly and sneering smile which definitely meant that he, the masked figure was not here to make peace with Tim. When he saw the 3 letters engraved on the dark figure's metal covering, Tim froze and stared at the man helplessly. He tried to recollect what all the rumors' about the man he had heard. First, XYZ is the master of martial arts. He could kill 3 men in different ways till you complete saying the word 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'. He has, actually earned black belts in karate, Taekwondo and Judo. He prefers Taekwondo to kill. That what the dark figure did. With one back piercing kick or Dwitcha Jirugi, he took the life of a man in 1.2 seconds. After that, he swiftly killed everyone. He then, spoke to Tim with rather a sneering voice "Hand out the kid, Tim."

Tim had no choice, but to hand over John Trowel, just like you hand over a library book. He went to the prison where John was kept and gave him to the killer of the killers. XYZ smiled his ugly smile and placed his hand into his pocket. The next thing John Trowel knew was that Tim had just died.

Who are you, xyz?

The 25-year old CBI's Chief Inspector, Tony Diamond, had a thick file on his desk. It was surprising that the Mastermind of CBI is not able to solve a case within a year. XYZ case. In this case a person called XYZ is killing all the bad guys whom CBI were looking for years. After every encounter, he leaves no lesser than 20 corpses. Every crook had a file in the office, but XYZ has the whole shelf. Some suggest that he is a social activist, while some say that he is doing all this in order to gain fame. Tony was not sure about why he is doing all this but he was sure that he was needed to be stopped because, even if he is actually benefiting the CBI sector, he is brutally killing all the people, good or bad who gets in his way. And yes, XYZ is masculine. It is proved by his tiny wisp of hair. It was really getting Tony's nerves not to solve this case. Tony sighed at this idea, and took a pink pill and swallowed it with water. He took the pill since he woke up from coma. He was about 10 years and a bus hit his head and he went to coma. He was kept in an isolated room with only a fan creaking below the ceiling. After about 15 years, he woke up from coma, which doctor said was a miracle. It was 15 years but for Tony, it was like he was in coma for 40 years. It took him 1 year to just learn what had change. A lot had changed in 15 years. In 15 years, he lost both his parents. So he got adopted by a family. When he was young, he was always a patriot of his country and wanted to die for the same. So, he chose to become a CBI officer for his bread and butter. To everyone's surprise, he had raised in designation just like he was climbing the stairs. He completed case after case like he was solving a jig-saw puzzle. Then he met George Turner who now was his assistant. Long before George had become Tony's assistant, George and Tony were thick as thieves even though they had different habits and attitude. George is always humorous even when he is in a major problem while Tony is always serious even when George cracks his funniest jokes. But he was also worried about him because when Tony woke up from coma, he faced a lot of issues. The doctor said that it was common in people who had woken from coma and would go away after sometime. But the problems did not go away as easily as the doctor had
