Jungle Green—5 1-oz. Balls; Natural—1 1-oz. Ball
BACK: With No. 2 Needles and Jungle Green, cast on 99 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, in striped pattern as follows: * 3 rows Jungle Green, 2 rows Natural; repeat from * until ribbing measures 4 in. from lower edge. Change to No. 4 Needles and working in Green, P 1 row increasing to 118 sts at even intervals across row. Work even in stockinette st until piece measures 12 in. from lower edge. Bind off 7 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows for underarm; decrease 1 st at each end every other row 7 times. Work even until piece measures 5½ in. from underarm. Work over 29 sts; place on st-holder. Bind off next 32 sts for back of neck. On remaining 29 sts, work 2 rows even, then decrease 1 st at neck edge every other row 5 times. Work even until piece measures 6½ in. from underarm. Starting at shoulder edge, bind off 8 sts every other row 3 times. Work other side to correspond.
FRONT: Work same as given for back until piece measures 4 in. from underarm. Work over 34 sts; place on st-holder. Bind off next 22 sts for front of neck. On remaining 34 sts, work 2 rows even; decrease 1 st at neck edge every other row 10 times. Work even until piece measures 6½ in. from underarm. Starting at shoulder edge, bind off 8 sts every other row 3 times. Work other side to correspond.
BACK NECKBAND: With No. 4 Needles on right side of garment, pick up 63 sts from shoulder to shoulder. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, in striped pattern as given for lower edge of back for 8 rows. Change to No. 2 Needles and continue ribbing until there are 18 rows ribbing in all. Bind off.
FRONT NECKBAND: With No. 4 Needles on right side of garment, pick up 83 sts from shoulder to shoulder.
Work as given for back neckband.
Sew shoulder and underarm seams.
SLEEVES: With No. 2 Needles cast on 79 sts. Work in striped rib pattern as given for lower edge of back until ribbing measures 2½ in. from lower edge. Change to No. 4 Needles and Green; work even in stockinette st until piece measures 5 in. from lower edge. Bind off 7 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows for underarm; decrease 1 st at each end every other row 7 times, then every 4th row 3 times. Bind off 2 sts at beginning of every row until 21 sts remain. Bind off remaining sts, Sew sleeve seams. Sew sleeves in place.

BACK: With No. 4 Needles cast on 77 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 3½ in. Change to No. 7 Needles and P 1 row increasing to 92 sts at even intervals across row. Work in pattern as given for No. 5208 (starting with row 2), until piece measures 10 in. from lower edge. Bind off 4 sts at beginning of each of next 2 rows for underarm, then 3 sts at beginning of each of next 4 rows. Work even until piece measures 8½ in. from first bound off sts at underarm. Bind off 8 sts at beginning of each of next 6 rows for shoulders. Change to No. 4 Needles increasing to 31 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 6 rows. Bind off.
FRONT: With No. 4 Needles cast on 77 sts. Work in ribbing of K 1, P 1, for 3½ in. Change to No. 7 Needles and P 1 row increasing to 112 sts at even intervals across row.
