1. The Call of Cthulhu

keep your eyes peeled/ ear to the planks sea is crashing/ feeling queasy

watch the water/ form crashes in veiw face your fears/ face of the all mighty Cthulhu

he lumbers/ the size of a skyscraper leviathan sunders/ close the storm shutters octopus tentacles/ hang from mouth

as he walks into sight/ minds snap

Insanity follows

a beckoning light/ from lighthouse

horror consumes/ as fishing boats

tossed aside/ as he wades toward town faceless children/ shambling mounds born in the sands

the siren blares/ the monster slumbers deep in the oceans/ awakening

man’s blunder/ drilling to deep,

atomic blasts / the beast asleep

the storm never dies

wings like leather/ block out the sun, from the depths/ he explodes

from the foam..

sleepy fishing town

sleeps no more

ravaging the land /like a whore

don’t shoot shotgun

bullets bounce off his coral hide

the great old one

has arrived/ to devastate your mind as the town burns

he turns down into briney deep

for another thousand years/ he falls to sleep, as the population dwindled/ in the village, and madness is abound…

you only hear

whispers

a breeze is the only sound

written on a sign as it creeks…

Beware the Deep!!!
