This is a compelling action packed mini novel about a woman who grows up disrupting her school and getting in trouble with the law as a juvenile. After serving time for committing fraud as a young adult, she becomes a scientist and develops the ability to become unseen in order to cause havoc without being apprehended. From this point on, the crimes she commits become more and more heinous.

Whenever the cops close in on her, she vanishes. They must catch her before she wipes out the entire city of Minneapolis. The characters in this book are fictional. Any similarity between them and any actual persons is purely coincidental.

Chapter One

Victoria “Vickie” Dumont was an adorable baby growing up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. “You’re so cute, my sweet little princess,” Millie told her three-month old baby who had a grand smile and was full of joy and good spirit. Millie continued, “Bringing you into existence is the best thing I’ve ever done. I love you so much.”

About a year later, Vickie started crawling on the living room floor carpet. “Way to go, girl!” praised her dad (Mickey). “She’s making solid progress in her development. She’s going to make us proud,” contributed Millie.

Millie and Mickey then pushed Vickie around in a stroller at a local park. Enjoying the early spring bloom, Millie remarked, “Look at these trees! They’re just so gorgeous.” “Yes, the colors are stunning,” chipped in Mickey. “Stunning,” mimicked Vickie.

“Wow! Our baby is talking now,” beamed Mickey. “Yes. Now I look forward to the day she starts walking on her own,” added Millie.

A few years later, Vickie started attending preschool. Although she was not a troublemaker, she was not one of the best students. “Your daughter sometimes sleeps or lets her mind wander in class. Furthermore, she is having trouble understanding what is being taught in class,” spoke Ms. Patterson, Vickie’s teacher.

“We’ll do what we can to get her on track,” notified Millie. “Thank you for having us come in,” reciprocated Mickey. After he and his wife went home, they enacted measures to straighten Vickie out. These included grounding her, giving her an 8:00 PM bedtime, tutoring her and training her to stop daydreaming a lot. These measures worked. Vickie stopped sleeping and daydreaming in class and developed a strong comprehension of her lesson material; consequently, she made it through preschool with flying colors.

Once she entered third grade at the age of eight, she became a handful for the teachers and her classmates. One thing she did was act out in class. “If Johnny was given three apples then ate one of them, how many would he have left?” Mr. Bell asked his mathematics class. “I don’t know. Why don’t you go ask him?” Vickie blurted out before laughing.
