The City With No Remorse

CHAPTER ONE

Richard woke up sweating and panting from a dark and dismal nightmare of his father yelling at his mom. Saying stuff like, " You're a worthless bitch!" "I want that piece of shit son out of my life!" Richard hates his father with a fire burning passion. He shows no forgiveness for his father and all the insanity he's caused. Every night, he always has these dreams every night. The boy got out of bed, walked down stairs into a kitchen to get something to drink. A can of Monster Energy was his choice. Richard loves energy drinks and has one insane caffeine addication. He drinks up to 5 cans of Monsters a day and he even takes some caffeine pills as well. His excuse is that it makes him feel better so his depression won't show his lack of energy to other people. While he was sipping his drink, his mother walked downstairs. "Richard, What are you doing up so early?" She asked in a groggy tone of voice. "Can't sleep..." he replied. "
"Well, why is that?" His mother asked in a concerned manner.
"I keep on having those dreams when you and dad fought a lot. it's been torturing my mind and making me really uneasy." Richard replied while sipping his drink.
"Honey I've taken you to therapy tons of times!" His mother muttered.
Richard hit the table with his hand"You don't understand damn it! He was a ignorant pig who deserves to be wept of this earth! I can't even understand why you still talk to him for fuck sakes! He yelled ferociously.
"Well... I'm sorry you feel that way Richard." His mother replied with a tear drop from her eye. His mother walked upstairs crying. Richard felt bad and also has a vicious temper when he's angry. Especially when his father is brought up into the picture. He was always angry and hateful ever since the divorce between his parents. Angry at the point he just hated the world. After his drink, he walked upstairs in his room. While he got up there, he pulled out his laptop from under his bed to check his email. While he checked, he heard his phone vibrate on his nightstand.
