It all started a year ago when Uzair Majeed and his girlfriend Samaya Saade were removed from an Allegiant Air flight traveling from South Carolina to Mississippi to surprise his older brother and his wife. Howbeit, when Uzair and his friend ask why they were being removed from the aircraft, a couple of shady flight attendants responded saying that it was their disturbing behavior during the flight briefing to the passengers about the aircraft safety standards. They knew that they did nothing wrong, they were just as attentive as all the other passengers aboard the aircraft. However, the staff appeared to be engaging in some very hostile discriminatory practices that were quite humiliating and because of their prejudice, they had influenced other aircraft staff of their so-called conspicuous conduct. This was alarming to many passengers aboard the flight who witnessed the intrusive behavior of the flight attendants in their constant harassment toward two very peaceful people. One being, they didn't want them sitting so close to the front of the passenger plane because one of the flight attendants felt uneasy and despised looking at them. She mentioned that she noticed the one named Uzair was sweating and murmured “Allah” while looking at his watch. They were asked by each flight attendant to switch their seats with other passengers in the back of the plane when they frankly refused. They acknowledged that they were fine with their seating. Secondly, they were hindered from speaking in their own Muslim language while aboard the flight and third, they were told they could not wear their headsets on the plane when they witnessed other passengers were doing just the opposite. Uzair and his girlfriend were not trying to stir trouble, they were quite submissive and had traveled a great distance from Syria. Their journey entailed sailing from the coast of Arados across the Atlantic until they arrived on U.S. Soil in South Carolina. They were so happy to be able to transition westward to escape a war-torn country, which entailed abject poverty, harsh and inhumane living conditions of informal camps. Millions escaped to the Turkey and Lebanon regions but there was only so much work available in those countries, therefore, many were unable to provide for their families. Syria is split between an area controlled by the government, Islamic State militants and other armed groups and the conflict get worse each day. Often refugees come to America much like earlier Muslim immigrants who migrated to America from the Senegambian region back in the 14th century. As a matter of fact, the United States is the largest refugee resettlement country in the world, admitting approximately two-thirds of all refugee resettlement referrals worldwide each year. They've heard of the American way to where in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution entailed “freedom of speech” and “religion” is guaranteed under the US amendment.
