The Big Pursuant

 

  Gwendolyn Mitchell, a bright and very distinguished young lady in her mid-thirties was driving back to her home in Dallas, Texas late one Sunday evening, as she detested having to leave all of her loved ones behind but she had to get back to work the next morning.  As she drove along the long stretch of highway, she started thinking about all the fun she had talking with her sweet Aunt Marie, her hilarious Uncle Joe and all of her other wonderful relatives.  She was leaving her family reunion in Marshall, Texas of which they had a great time in union together.  It was good to see that everyone was doing well, which was very important to her.  Many of them had traveled so far to attend the reunion, so she extended her visit as long as she could because she will never know when she’ll get the chance to see them all again, as she kissed and embraced everyone before leaving.

 

 The sun started to set while turning on her park lights, as she traveled on so the oncoming cars could see her along the dusk stretch of highway.  She had approximately 3 hours of travel time so she started to increase her speed to 70 mph.  There was a deep curve up ahead and while cautiously slowing down to her surprise crossing the highway was a gigantic long black snake and couldn’t resist running over its tail end.  She heard a loud crash, as her vehicle crossed its rugged surface causing her Suburban
