Welcome to WebWriters.
It is important for you to follow these guidelines, so that each member can achieve maximum impact for advertising their websites, blogs, facebook pages, contests where votes are required and links to books for sale. All of them should be external links and not links to books within the BookRix domain.
1. Each member can use one thread only.
2. When you begin your thread, put your name and bookrix name into the subject line.
3. You now have a thread which you may use to advertise any of your links.
4. To begin your thread, please use snapshots of your sites to make your thread appealing to readers (see my thread as an example).
5. Now that you have your thread set up, you can update it anytime as long as you stick to your own thread. Bear in mind that when you update your thread, it will go to the top of the groups posts, so the more you update, the more exposure you will receive.
6. The next person to post a new thread must go to the top three threads in the group (not stickies)and click on the member's links at the beginning of the thread. This is important for raising visit counts to websites and to gain friends and likes on facebook. If you do visit a member's facebook page, please like it.
7. Facebook is only for an individual's writing pages, not a personal page, unless it deals with a lot of writing issues)
I shall add to these guidelines as we go, so if you have any suggestions on how we can improve the group, post in this thread.
So let's see how it works...
The next person after me, should click on my links before starting their own thread. Feel free to comment on people's threads. Perhaps, you may want to suggest some changes or you just want to say well done for a great looking webpage. Anything to get the momentum going and to offer encouragment to your peers.
Good luck
Wendy
