I always start new books without finishing the others..I can't help it, I have so many ideas and storys that I just have to get them on paper. Does anyone know what I can do to keep me motivated to stay on one story at a time? I really don't want to have a million unfinished stories..

I'm having a hard time coming up with chapter 6....It feels like I have writers block, but at the same time I have inspiration for my story. I've been busy writing poetry a lot so its taking away from my time writing my actual story. It's a fight to write my story or write poetry within my mind...Advice wo uld be great at this time.... I feel like writing poetry is far more important then writing stories...Could use some advice big time....
you have to follow your heart. words only can come if you feeling what you writing. If poetry is your outlet more, do that for now until you get that mojo to write your story again
