My friends and I used to read Garfield back when I was in middle school. It's so funny how he's endured. Ironically, I've had 2 cats that could give Garfield a run for his money (and they're dead ringers for him, too) Well, one (Geraden) is just 'dead' (he literally had a massive coronary and dropped dead in front of me and my daughter about 12 years ago...it was...an experience to say the least) but the other one (Junior) is alive and kicking.

And we have a crazy dog who has that goofy 'Odie' look about her. Yes, it's like living in a cartoon.

Life is funny. Comics are forever!
