Does anyone know anything about converting a book into an IPhone App? It looks interesting and I'm thinking of investing in it. Any feedback on the subject?

I've never been out to sea, but I totally agree with you. authors have acknowledgements at the ends of their books, and they have huge lists of people to mention and thank. cool profile pic, btw

I believe a good children's picture book should create an imagined world that pulls a child in and causes them to feel apart of the story that is being told.
i think a successful children's book depends on the illustrations- my friend's neice loves the book "the hungry catepillar"- plus you need to take into account that the mom is most likely the one to buy it, so you have to target the mom as well.

... this is advice for if the book is for a kid pre-reading age, where their parents read them the story. I'm not sure about children's books for kids who are learnign to read.

Hey guys, I noticed that there's not much activity going on, despite the large numebr of members. it's kind of a little depressing, as if this is a virtual ghost-town.
Don't worry: I've got an idea: We should do one of those sentence-by-sentence stories, where everyone contributes a sentence. There will be a very loose plot to follow. How those things come to pass is entirely up to the colective ever-changing mind of us though.... Show more
