I am the co-creator of StoryCraft Story-Creation Software, which began in 1996 as one of the first software programs for fiction writers. Back then, when no one even knew how software could be used to help you write a story, my company was the first to coin the term "story-creation software." Now called StoryCraft New Edition, in its first major makeover in nearly two decades, the program is the only writer's software that allows writers to create any kind of fiction of any genre or any type, all based on the Mythic Hero Journey pattern integrated into the program by StoryCraft co-inventor John Jarvis. His Jarvis Method was the first to fully embrace the Journey pattern in all story writing, and through his software it continues to influence the creation of modern novels and movies to this day.

To elaborate: Using the literary classic A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, as a reference and guide throughout the program, StoryCraft is not only a tool for designing, writing, and managing your stories but also a complete learn-as-you-write course in fiction writing with a built-in curriculum for using the software in the classroom or homeschool as well as for personal use.

Indeed, while professional writers use StoryCraft to develop novels & screenplays, anyone can use it just for the pure joy of expressing yourself through your own non-judgmental creative imagination. And whether you write for publication or just for self-expression, the software can even be used to create stories based on your own life for resolving traumas and other life issues. In fact, you can use StoryCraft for therapy too, as it gives you the freedom to delve into any traumas or challenges you have faced in your life by creating fictional stories with characters and situations that may mirror your own experiences while giving you the emotional distance of “just being a story” — to see yourself as a hero on a journey.

Stay vigilant my brothers and sisters!! To say that much has changed since my last post is an understatement. In spite of all that we are going through as a country and as God's people think on this if you will;

Matthew 22:34-40

The Most Important Commandment

34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees with His reply, they met together to question Him again.
35 One of them, an expert in religious law, tried to trap Him with this question:

36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
