A few days ago, it was brought indirectly to my attention about a how a certain young aide to the Trump Administration, a Hope Hicks, admitted to lying to the general public for the sake of Trump. This information however was not even released until after she admitted to lying, at which point she immediately resigned from her post.

Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of said news wasnt the fact that she lied, but that she lied as part of her job's responsibilities.

If this was not bad enough, consider this: Trump berated the young Hicks for coming clean, as can be seen in the following statement: 'According to the source, Trump asked Hicks after the testimony how could she be so stupid, and apparently that was the final straw for Hope Hicks"' (the link to the article can be found below).

And this is the kind of man we trust to run our country and make the decisions to keep us safe? Really America? Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but if you ask me, i think we have fallen a long way, if lying to get a man both into office, and lying while he is in office, is the new norm.

This isnt what the Founding Fathers had in mind for the country.
