Wilhelm Pahls lädt aufbauend auf einem Bericht aus den USA zu einem Leben mit Jesus ein. Der Bericht entstammt einem Interview, das nach dem 11. September 2001 geführt wurde. Oft wurde nach Katastrophen gefragt, wo Gott war und warum er nicht geholfen hatte. Der Bericht handelt davon, dass WIR Gott immer mehr verdrängt haben - aus den Schulen, aus der Öffentlichkeit, aus der Erziehung etc. Wir zeigen Gott die kalte Schulter, erwarten aber im Gegenzug, dass er uns ein komfortables Leben schafft. Wilhelm Pahls geht von diesem Bericht aus und weist die Leser darauf hin, dass sie Jesus brauchen.
