Over the speakers came the deep voice of a man making the announcement, “Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to … Abby Martin.”
The applause filled the arena. The Latin music gained in volume as the rich sound of the acoustic guitar strings was played. As the stage lights came up on her Cliff felt his heart begin to race as a wave of goose bumps spread through his body.
“Oh my God.” he uttered quietly in shock. It was her. It was Abby. It was his Abby

Nat, I can only hope so.

Untrue. Fifty years ago, my Mum served us shepherd's pie once a week.

Shepherd's pie must use lamb. Use beef and you have cottage pie. I don't know
f a name in English for a duck ragu covered in mash and baked, but it is not
shepherd's pie.
