Wow, what a sad, but too often true story. You told it well. Makes me shudder to think of some of those 'lost' teens. (I was one once, but I forget!)

Revkenr That means a lot to me when you said my stories are believable.I try and write stories that show conflict but always have a glimmer of hope at the end. I appreciate your taking the time to read them. :)

I like when a story is believable. This one is, and it also makes a good point.

Very well done, and good luck on the drabble

Such a pity to want to grow up so quickly, that some end doing things without realizing what is really happening and what consequences they might have to face later. Nice stories, well done.

Many thanks. I appreciate your reading my three short stories and I am so glad you like them. The teen years can be so difficult, and there is such a rush to grow up.

angamonkey Thanks for your vote I am delighted you enjoyed it. There are so many lost children

I saw this first hand when my kids brought home their friends to our home and my heart broke for them. I only touched on a small part of a young girls life.

This reminds me so much of what it's like to be a teenager and how eager teenagers are to trust that freedom will lead us to happiness.
