Your poem sums it up well. We're all tightening our belts lately trying to prepare ourselves for the unexpected...

I tighten my belt, cut corners and pray daily, knowing that God has the final say. Where one door closes, another door opens...

God bless,

Tyrone

Hello rhym3on,
I intercepted your transmission, and wanted to commend you on the clear signal. Robots do not understand money, but we can relate to when newer models replace older but still competent models, or when systems shut down completely.
Good luck in this contest!

PS--since you like poetry, please check out my transmissions if you'd like.

Your poem is extremely relevant during a time when the unemployment rate is at its highest in decades (in the US at least). I work in an industry where lay-offs are announced almost every week, so I can definitely relate your poem. I think it was well executed (except for a couple of missed spaces) and has a nice format. Good job!
Good luck!
