Did I sense a feeling of unworthiness in the narrator? He/she appears to be filled with adoration toward the other person. It takes a lot of skill and talent to express the emotions you displayed. Your images are wonderfully descriptive. This poem reminds of Song of Solomon.
Patrick,
You have a very unique sense of imagination. The poem is so beautiful it flows so gracefully. I really like it. :)
I know you've heard this before, Patrick, but your imagery is so flawless and perfect. Your heart is magical, it's romantic imaginings flow fluidly, heart to mind and then to your fingers to alight softly on the page ... ahhh, always a joy, reading your thoughts.

Nice flow of words and the imagery you create.....I would have to read it more to get a fuller understanding though. The ending was direct, with purpose. Love the cover.
Thanks for inviting us into your world, Pat. It's a nice place to be. Your details are astounding and lush. Rich colors, romantic feelings and beautiful bliss are at the tip of your pen. Magnificent wording, delightful visions. I voted for you.
Thank you, M :)
Yeaaaaahhh...I'm really Benjamin Button, lol.
Thanks for reading my little poem:)
Thank you. I always appreciate a favorable review or comment form one so masterful as you:)
Absolutely correct. The king, the emperor, the haughty man, shocked by her image as she appears and descends into his barren existence:)
