Two Years Later

Two Years Later
A musing.
A sadness.
A song unfinished.
In every life--in every love--in every heart--there lays in wait the moment when circumstance brings the end.

This poem is haunting and one can feel the anguish inside the protagonist. This person carries a burden no one should ever have to bear. But sadly, most of do at one time or another. Death brings heartbreak and acute loss. Thank Heavens, we have the gift of life, to experience joy, happiness, and beauty.

Wow! She does an amazing job reciting your touching poem. I also watched a video of her performing "God Bless The Outcast" and "I'll Know". She's very talented and so are you, my friend.

Just came across this work, Patrick, and once again I am blown away by your talent, your insight, your artistry. This is one of your more meaningful, touching and poetic works that is so superior to much of what I read that I shall savor it...save it..and read it over and over again. Thank you for being YOU.

Review - What I love about poetry is the freedom to linked words together to create such visuals that you can't do in book writing.

Love - bonds of steely rope
to mournings of stifling dust

Excellent job, as always! Robynn
