okay so the Idea is a great start and it is just that, a start. you need to describe everything better. You are going in too fast and trying to describe everything at once and that makes it so you can't get any details in. If you slow down, add details, and most importantly work on it. but other than that it has great potential and a great story line! big thumbs up for contra wars!

Fantastic concept! This story, with the right tweaks, has the potential to pack some great action and romance.

I think what you could do to make it even more interesting is to describe the surroundings in which the characters are in; not just the defined country-like territories they live in, but the actual scenery and moment for the characters. Make your characters interact more with their surroundings, if you know what I mean.

On another note, I like how you added a double twist with the two types of romances going on. It seems as though all the creatures, though they hate one another, have a "human" side to them.

Except those pesky zombies! 8)
