Pater Pio † war ein katholischer Priester und Kapuziner. Pater Pio (italienisch: Padre Pio) wurde als Francesco Forgione am 25. Mai 1887 in Pietrelcina, Provinz Benevent, Kampanien, Italien, geboren. Er starb am 23. September 1968 in San Giovanni Rotondo, Provinz Foggia, Apulien, Italien) und wurde im Jahr 2002 von Papst Johannes Paul II heiliggesprochen.
