I don't know if the last book before this one was like a "beta version" of this one ( excuse me if I am redundant) but from my point of view, I think it had a better developed story and characters, and to be honest i'd like to finish that one :D, but despite that I think you are a very good writer :).

Oh, wow! Thank you! Hmmm...Ordinarily I would say Istalri, but I'm gonna be re-working that one and its not as great as I thought it was. But then I'm just the author, not a reader so who knows you might like it. But Istalri is a fanfiction so I don't know if you've read the... Show more

Gosh, its been so long since I've looked! If you like Pokemon, I've got a Pokemon fanfiction: My Pokemon Adventures (that was a temporary title and I haven't updated it yet). That's a basically original story in a new region, new protag, new and familiar Pokemon. And its several chapters long.

But Pokémon and Fairy Tail should be fine because both incorporate the canon material and makes it feel new so you shouldn’t have any problems.
I personally would hit up your school or city library first when your getting into reading. Go through each section and grab a few interesting books from each, then read them. That should give you an idea of what genres you like. Once you know that, it’ll be easier to find and read stuff you’ll like. I prefer to read and write Young Adult Fantasy and Adventure, and I like to through in Romance. Those three elements just really capture my imagination.
