Never have I been so glad for happenstance.
Coup D'etat delivers is a solid story on vivid imagery and powerful content. It begs, as I shamelessly do, for another installment.
I liked the story. I liked how it switched from perspectives of the prophetess to the chieftain. I liked how by doing this you were able to express their inner feelings and slowly unravel the story behind their grief and the reason as to why they were training their daughter so hard. The internal struggles of each are set down very realistically - at the same time setting up the rest of the story.
A solid scene.
