Have You Been to the Beach ... in Winter?
The poems in this collection touch on events and emotions brought forth in the chill of Winter. Having been widowed since 2002, some of the work reflects on my lost love and a search for fulfillment in a sexually charged but morally conflicting affair.
I hope you enjoy the exploration into this adult subject matter written from experience and fantasy.

I love poetry, and I read it very often. I have written some and posted it but it is not very good.
There is something about your work that flows really well. It is such a rare thing for me to read a poem and feel the passion of the writer flow off of the page (well... screen). You are amazing. Keep writing. :)

I haven't read a collection like this one yet. It was like following along as her life unfolded (your life?). I was with you every step of the way. I enjoyed this style. In my mind it was more like reading a story rather than poetry. Life does throw some curve balls at us sometimes and the decisions we have to make are not always easy ones. Thanks for the great read. I gave you a vote and look forward to reading more.

Thank you for reading my book and catching that needed edit! It seems like no matter how many times you proof your own work something is overlooked! I will take care of that edit immediately, the "a" was in my original and when I entered it in BookRix somehow I skipped it! Thanks again!

Intense poetry with themes of love, death and longing set against the backdrop of winter's sometimes empty celebrations!
Nice work! I was taken for an emotional roller coaster ride.

Very nicely done. Your poetry book is certainly passionate. You create very clear images with your words. Thanks for this very heart warming read.
