Good story Laz, been there waiting to hear from the girl before, and drinking Jack!! :D I think the only thing missing was spending a little more time describing the kiss, maybe get the reader imagining it and then suddenly breaking the moment when interrupted to convey the panick he must have felt. Just a suggestion of course :)

The end or the beginning of a relationship always makes for a good story, but one thing is troubling me. The title. I can see how the kiss lead to the separation, but what else did it effect? Is there more to the story that's just going to keep piling up on the one encounter’s list of consequences? Maybe I'm thinking too hard about this. Seriously, good story.
