That was an unexpected ending for your short story..
We traveled inside that mind, hovering around your suitcase.
It's exactly like a private club, everything is between the members. The outsiders could never be the players.

This was one of those stories that happen when you're doing something non-writing related (I was tossing a raccoon at the dog... a toy raccoon, lol) when for some reason I can't explain, the idea for the story occurred to me. So I dashed off to my computer and wrote it. The ending suggested itself suddenly, surprising me, too.
Writing is so weird. That's probably why I love it so much. 'D
