dear Joe,
I liked the being at one with the creature and the verve, but too many adjectives where a single word will do. Keep going!

Short, but flawless. I live on a farm, with lots of horses and you decribed them perfectly. Took my breath away.

Excellently exressed emotional affection
towards your hilariously healthy horse.
Would that a mare were there to appease the
affair !
The word "shiny" is correctly spelt and no
need to change as "shinny". The latter
refers to ice-hockey. damicosr's suggestion
doesn't seem tenable.

I like this poem. The author, Joe Parente, obviously loves horses. I have to agree that they are magnificent creatures and beautiful to watch as they prance around. No wasted movements.

One word of caution, though; shiny is spelled with one 'n' instead of two. You might want to change that. It is the only flaw in the book. Good job.
