Dawnielle has never truly been satisfied with her home in the small town of Hogansville, Georgia. She's always wished for something more. She gets her wish when she enters a foreign exchange student program and is allowed to finish high school in Japan. Keeping in touch with family and friends may be difficult, especially when her boyfriend's mom dies. She can't be there to comfort him and may be falling for someone new. Can she make it? Or is she doomed to fail?
