Interesting account. I live in Canada and our country has had some pretty nasty disasters when it comes to flooding. Unfortunately the prime cause of it is modern development for profit with little thought to the future impact on the environment. Nature usually does teach the hard lesson by hitting us where it hurts...we lose everything just like Nature has when we hit it where it hurts.
