A Footprint Made Of Code

She's dead.

Laying in the earth 6 feet under.

Sarah was texting her moments before she went through with it. It haunted her forever more she was unable to realise the severity of the situation. That she didn't pick up on her sudden changes. That she didn't know her as well as she should of. That she didn't do anything to save her.

"Uh. It's not like I'm the only one that had a boy craze.
If I recall correctly you wrote down the name of a certain black haired beauty. What was his name again?"

'Mark.'

"He was the only wish that came true, I think. How is he?"

'How about that time when we were little and had those dumb parties?'

Mark... he destroyed her heart six months after Sarah left.

"So, how's everything going with the parentals... A few days ago you said they were yelling a lot..."

'Yeah...'

"So... is everything okay? You seemed upset and panicked."

'Everything's fine, don't worry Sarah.'

"K. I won't bug you about it anymore. Just, if something happens, tell me. I'm just a phone call away."

'I know.'

Her parents... became drug addicts and alcoholics, arguing constantly. She was abused, and her father went too far repeatedly.

'I'm sorry'

"Sorry for what?"

'It's not your fault'

She was found dead at the bottom of a lake in a little-known alcove.

Wow, your writing style is very sensitive. I found it very enjoyable to read and would like to know how to proceed. Your pictorial descriptions are so unique and I've never read before in these costumes. Very creative.

Very melodramatic ... perhaps that's too drastic. Very dramatic account of a young girl's feelings of guilt over a close friend's apparent suicide and the revelation it might have been murder. It's well done and I suspect a spell binder that will receive wide acclaim. You have a magic quality to your expressive writing and I predict you will go far. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this project.
