Thanks for the kind comments James and Stanley. This short was entered in the "Super Powers" contest on BR some time back. Who knows, I might flesh it out into a longer book.

if you get on a writing benge , its untelling where you could go with that idea , of saving the world from future disaster, this story would be a hard challenge , i would think,

Love the premise of the story, going from something the main character did not understand to complete and absolute knowledge to a new mission in life. Though the story was very short, it was powerful in its message. Great job.

This is late in coming, but without a doubt, your story was MAGNIFICENT! I don't say that lightly. The concept, the execution...both speak to creative mastery. I stand in awe of this great piece of writing. SO well done. Congratulations!

I loved it! And the best part? You can now write a whole novel from this concept! I can see him running around the country or even the world, hunting for the one way to stop the future...very nice, yes, nice indeed!

I couldn't find a novel, which has used the stone as a basis for a story. Hope you do something with it, Glen xx
