I really like all of this much better than the twilight books. I'm very sorry for my harsh comment, but I just didn't like them very well. I think you should stick to writing great stuff like this. These are very beautifully written, and I felt you got the ideas of most of them on your own instead of copying someone else and putting your own stamp on it. Keep up with stuff like this.

You have some very mature thoughts for one so young. I think your book is a great start for a promising future in writing.

One of the most important things I might suggest, is to keep writing as much as possible. Also, it's always good to read as much poetry as you can stand :) Get a feel for as many styles/voices as possible. It really helps with the growth process, and can be a great confidence builder in years to come. Become familiar with all styles, but definately keep your own 'voice' and style.

Another thing to keep your eye on, is spelling. This will be a #1 turn-off for professional editors when they read your work in the future. Practice makes perfect, and I see you are very mature for your age...if you stick with it, you will be an excellent writer.

If you are an artist (watercolor/photographer) as well (just taking a shot-in-the-dark-here), try incorporating some of your artwork with your poetry. Simple visuals can enhance your work a lot, and I can see some great areas in your writing that give way to simple visuals of 'leafs' etc. Keep it simple though.

Just one more thing, and then I'll quit pestering you. There are quite a few forums for 'poets' on this site. If you go to the 'forums' tab, hit that and take a look. You can join as many forums as you like, and there's a lot of great advice for writers offered all the time.

I am so happy to see people of your age taking the important step of putting your work out for others to read and offer helpful critiques. I sure wish there were such things as computers when I was 12. :)
